墻柱面采用濕掛、濕貼施工及樓地面鋪貼時,為保證工程質量,建議使用市場上質量優(yōu)質的粘結劑（石英石專用膠）鋪貼。

石英石用于樓地面鋪貼時,板材之間要預留大約2mm的接縫,以利于水泥砂漿中的水分蒸發(fā)、抵消膨脹應力。大面積鋪裝時,縱橫每5m需設8mm的伸縮縫,以防地面及結構之膨脹、收縮導致石材凸起或破裂。

石英石應避免滾摔、碰撞造成板材存的暗裂和損傷。室外堆放時,時間不宜過長,冬季施工應采用巖棉被對石英石進行覆蓋,石英石鋪貼安裝前提前2小時搬入室內解融。雨季施工應蓋上防水布以防雨淋濕。
